Novotel Surabaya goes wireless [published on Nov 16, 2003]  Novotel Surabaya Hotel and Suites is the first business hotel in Indonesia offering guests Wi-Fi connectivity to cater to its growing corporate clientele and meetings market.
Guests with wireless cards can use this facility freely, and the hotel will also provide wireless cards for users without them. Cards will be available for 42,500 rupiah (US$5) a day from the business centre.
Internet connectivity initially will be available in most areas of the hotel, including selected rooms and apartments, hotel lobby, restaurant, ballroom and even in the landscaped gardens and pool area.
Guests with laptops or wireless connected PDAs can browse the Internet and check their email without the restriction of cables and dial-up procedures.
