 Myanmar (formerly known as Burma, until 1988)
remains, even today, one of the world’s
most mysterious and undiscovered destinations.
Until recently it was one of Asia’s most
inaccessible countries, restricting visitors to

closed its doors on the world, it had consequently
escaped the excesses of commercialisation and
retained an almost untouched Buddhist way of life.
