Onward Tickets  Formally, an onward/return ticket is a necessity for a tourist card and normal visa, but anywhere in Indonesia, you are rarely asked to show this.
If you arrive by air on Bali, onward/return tickets are rarely requested, since you are assumed to be on a package tour, even that you are or not.
However, if you look messy or broke, you may be asked to present a ticket or evidence of adequate funds to shore up yourself during your stay. Travelers cheques should be sufficient, while a credit card in lieu of cash may not satisfy these requirements. |
