Airlines There are several International Airlines operating scheduled flights to Ngurah Rai International Airport. Garuda Indonesia is the National Airlines that handles regular direct International services to Bali from Bangkok, London, Kuala Lumpur, Hongkong, Tokyo, Nagoya, Singapore, Seoul, Taipei and Auckland.
Garuda Indonesia also serves all of the main provincial cities in Indonesia with several flights from Jakarta to cities of commercial and tourist importance. Meanwhile the domestic carriers - Merpati Nusantara Airlines, Bouraq, Pelita Air Service & Mandala - service destinations ranging from provincial capital to remote areas.
Other flight operators include Qantas, Malaysia Airline System, Cathay pacific, Singapore Airlines, China Airlines, Thai International, and Korean Air. Most of the other International Airlines fly to Singapore, this is the nearest foreign airport and from here it is only a two and a half hour flight to Bali.
There are also flights to Bali via Jakarta from Abu Dhabi, Rome, Zurich, Brussels and Frankfurt, while regular flights to Australia touch down at Darwin, Port Hedland, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns and Townsville |
